Fire crews extinguish large business fire in Shelby County

SHELBY COUNTY — Firefighters extinguished a fully involved structure fire in Shelby County around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Shelby County dispatch says crews were sent to a fire that broke out at R C Family Wood Products, a business located on 5590 State Route 47 in Houston.

Dispatchers tell us that there were around 15 fire units that responded to the fire including mutual aid from Darke, Miami, and other neighboring counties.

The fire started around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

No one was hurt.
