Farmers market returns to Troy today; Road closure expected

TROY — A farmers market returns to Troy today.

The Cherry Street Local Farmers Market opened for the first time this year at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

The market runs from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday from now until Sept. 30, according to their Facebook page.

South Cherry Street will be closed between West Main and Franklin Streets for the market, according to the City of Troy.
