UPDATE: Endangered Missing Adult Alert cancelled; Missing Columbus woman found safe

UPDATE @ 9:55 P.M.:

The Endangered Missing Adult Alert issued by Columbus Police has been cancelled. Betty Dabney was found safe.

INITAL REPORT:

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for an 87-year-old Columbus woman.

According to police, Betty Dabney drove away from her residence on Maryland Ave. on Friday at 9 a.m. and did not return.

Dabney is 5′2″ tall, 125 lbs and has brown hair and brow eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green jacket.

Dabney suffers from Alzheimer’s and police are concerned for her safety.

The car involved is a blue 1995 Chevrolet Lumina with OH plate number FDL7119.

Anyone with information about Dabney’s whereabouts is asked call 911.
