One taken to hospital after crash on Shoup Mill Road in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 6:22 a.m.:

One person was taken to the hospital from the crash at Shoup Mill Road and Riverton Road, according to dispatch records.

Medics checked out the others involved in the crash, according to a fire official on scene.

The injured person was taken to Grandview Hospital, records said.

INITIAL REPORT

Emergency crews are on the scene of a reported injury crash at Shoup Mill Road and Riverton Road in Dayton.

Initial reports said that someone may have been trapped in a vehicle, and then later that there was no entrapment. Reports also said that a child may have been involved in the crash.

Our crew reported it appeared everyone was out of the vehicles, and that the crash appeared to be between two vehicles.
