Edison State Community College opens campus in Eaton

Edison State Community College opened its newest campus in Eaton Wednesday at 450 Washington Jackson Road, neighboring a YMCA and Kettering Healthcare and MedFlight facility.

The campus will offer general education courses, college credit classes for high school students, degrees in agriculture and more.

In celebration of the new campus, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held and over 100 supporters were in attendance.

“This campus will reflect and serve the most critical initiatives of the county’s economy with programs and service models that are crafted through student and community feedback. This learning center is a blank slate, rather than a duplicate, rather than a template, is here for you to tell us what you need, and for us to then deliver,” said Edison State President Dr. Doreen Larson.

Edison State has campuses in Piqua, Greenville and Troy, which will open later this year.
