Driver arrested after fleeing crash scene in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY — A driver was arrested after fleeing the scene of rollover crash early Saturday.

Yellow Springs police found the unoccupied vehicle off the roadway on East Hyde Road and Corry Street, near the Richard P. Eastman Covered Bridge just before 3 a.m.

The vehicle was on its top with the airbags deployed.

State Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Xenia Post, said the male driver returned to the scene and was arrested for suspicion of OVI.

The driver was not injured in the crash and was believed to be the only occupant in the vehicle.

His identity was not released.
