DPS set to hold MLK Day of Service donation event

DAYTON — Dayton Public Schools are set to hold a drive-through donation event tomorrow for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

The event will be held today at the David H. Ponitz CTC on Washington Street.

The public will be able to drop off donations from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

According to a post on DPS’s Facebook page, items being collected include, new and unopened hygiene items, such as masks, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, combs, hairbrushes, lotion, washcloths, feminine hygiene products, and backpacks.
