Gov. Mike DeWine says Ohio has “no contracts with Russian businesses” in response to the country’s attack on Ukraine.
On Wednesday, DeWine issued a statement saying that state would not have any contracts for Russian goods and services going forward.

“We will not support Russia with Ohio taxpayer dollars,” DeWine said.
DeWine went on to call on the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and the state’s pension funds’ efforts to divest any Russian assets in their investment portfolios.

Recently, DeWine called for all businesses to stop selling and purchasing all Russian Vodka.
“Ohioans stand with the people of Ukraine and all of the freedom-loving people of the world against this unprovoked and unconscionable invasion that has led to so much suffering and destruction,” DeWine said.
