Suspect in Greene Co. apartment shooting charged; body cam video released

BATH TWP. — UPDATE: May 3, 2021 @ 4:20 p.m.

Deputies in Greene County were called to 3450 Cloveridge Court after getting reports of a shooting around 11:30 a.m.

According to a release, deputies arrived and took Hezekiah Hill into custody, along with help from Fairborn Police and Wright State University Police.

Hill was charged with felonious assault and is being held in the Greene County Jail on a $150,000 bond. Body camera video was released of when deputies arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody.

The release also stated that deputies provided first aid to the juvenile shooting victim. The victim was taken to a local hospitalized and remains in an unknown condition.

The shooting remains under investigation.

One person was shot at the Province apartments on Cloveridge Court.

The shooting reportedly happened in building three of the Province apartments just outside of Fairborn, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

The person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and taken to a local hospital. Deputies say the person’s condition is unknown.

Greene County Sheriff’s confirmed that one person has been detained and is being questioned.

We are working to learn more about who was involved in the incident and how severe the injuries are.
