Shooting reported in area of West Second Street

Police are investigating a shooting late Wednesday night that left one person suffering from a leg wound.

An evidence crew is at a location in the 100 block of Antioch and West Second streets.

We're hearing the victim may have been driven to Miami Valley Hospital and police have a vehicle there they are processing as possible evidence.

Police tell us the victim is a male and his injury is not life-threatening.

No word about a suspect or suspects in the shooting, which was reported sometime about 10:30 p.m.
