OVI checkpoint tonight in Dayton

DAYTON — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Combined Agency OVI Task Force will be conducting OVI sobriety checkpoints in Dayton today.

The location and times of the checkpoints will be released later today.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to designate a driver, make certain everyone in your vehicle is wearing a seat belt, and that kids are in child safety or booster seats. Stay alert and do not drive distracted or while texting.

If you observe an impaired driver, the sheriff’s office asks that you call your local law enforcement agency to report it and have a safe, happy holiday week.
