The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol were dispatched to I-75 northbound near Needmore Road at 1:48 a.m. on reports of an injury crash.

An initial investigation showed that Hill was driving south in the left northbound lane in a 2006 Cadillac DTS when he hit Davis, who was heading north in the left lane in a 2010 Kia Forte, head-on.

After that crash, Hill’s car hit a 2017 Nissan Altima. The driver of that vehicle, a Troy man, was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
