Dayton crews respond to house fire

DAYTON — Dayton crews responded to a house fire Wednesday morning.

Dayton Fire were called to the 40 block of Santa Clara Avenue at around 10:45 a.m. after reports of a house fire, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch stated.

Crews at the scene reported “heavy fire showing” from the two and a half story house, according to a Dayton Police and Fire Facebook post.

During the response, a dog was rescued from the second floor and “successfully resuscitated,” a spokesperson said via the Facebook post.

Medics were called to the scene; however, there were no reported injuries, dispatch said.
