Troy bicyclist hit by train in critical condition

A man who was struck by a train while riding a bicycle early Saturday morning is in critical condition, according to officials.

Crews responded around 2 a.m. to East Canal Street, where they found a man who was reportedly unconscious and bleeding.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
