2 workers hospitalized after semi crashes into construction lift on I-70 in Clayton

CLAYTON — Two private construction crew workers have been taken to Miami Valley Hospital after a semi-truck hit their construction lift according to state troopers.

Emergency crews were dispatched to I-70 at the South Kimmel Road overpass in Clayton on reports of crash involving a pedestrian around 1 a.m.

The conditions of the two workers were not released.

The crash initially shut down the eastbound lanes of I-70 while the crash was investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Clayton police. All lanes of the highway reopened around 5 a.m.
