When crews arrived at the scene, they reported seeing heavy fire showing and upgraded it to a working fire.

Battalion Chief Jeremy Linn told our crews that heavy fire damage caused a structural collapse in the building.

An emergency demolition request has been submitted to tear down the building.

One dog has been rescued from the fire, and crews are still looking for a missing cat, according to Linn.

Firefighters had to take a defensive strategy to handle the fire.
