Crews respond to fire at convenience store in Riverside

RIVERSIDE — Multiple agencies worked to fight a fire at a convenience store in Riverside late Sunday night.

Around 10:45 p.m. Crews were called to the 2700 block of Valley Pike to reports of heavy smoke showing from the building.

On social media, Huber Heights Fire Division posted pictures of heavy smoke and multiple engines on scene.

According to Riverside Fire Chief Daniel Stitzel, crews from Huber Heights, Harrison Township and Wright Patterson Air Force Base were called to help.

Stitzel said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
