Coronavirus: Officials who worked WSU men’s basketball semifinal test positive

The Wright State University men’s basketball team was exposed to game officials who have tested positive for the coronavirus, the Horizon League announced Thursday night.

The Horizon League, in conjunction with the Collegiate Officiating Consortium, notified the public of the two officials from the Consortium.

One or both of these persons officiated in the Monday, March 9, Wright State vs. University of Illinois-Chicago league semifinal at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis.

Horizon League staff members have directly communicated with league members, related game personnel, related volunteers and the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
