Coronavirus: New Cleveland Clinic testing capabilities deliver results within hours

CLEVELAND — New in-house testing capabilities will soon be ready at the Cleveland Clinic that is supposed to give results within hours, rather than days, a spokesperson for the hospital system told CBS affiliate WOIO-TV.

The clinic will have new onsite testing capabilities that will deliver coronavirus testing results within eight hours, instead of the two to seven days for off-campus labs to process the tests.

Cleveland Clinic is also in the process of planning different ways to test patients, including a possible drive-thru, WOIO reports.
