One of the restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic is the visitor restriction policy instituted by area hospitals, including Dayton Children’s, in an effort to stop the spread of the illness.

The limit on visitors means child patients may be missing friends and family, Dayton Children’s officials said.

To help fill the gap and bring a little cheer to their patients, Dayton Children’s is offering you the opportunity to send a child an e-card that includes a special message from you to them.

Visit childrensdayton.org/patientcards to choose one, two or all three of the cards.

When you click the link, you’ll be taken to a page where you add a message as well as your name and email address.

Hospital officials said will be delivered to patients with limited visitors during the coming weeks.

If you have questions about COVID-19 specific to children, call the hospital’s COVID-19 hotline at 1-888-746-KIDS (5437).
