Convicted sex offender accused of exposing himself to child for 2nd time in 2019

DAYTON — A registered sex offender is accused of exposing himself to a child for the second time this year inside a Linden Avenue store, according to records.

Gary Pigman, 70, was arrested following the latest incident, reported around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the $1.00 Store, 3846 Linden Ave. in Dayton.

Dispatch records indicated Pigman allegedly exposed himself in the store to a child and fled the business. Pigman was arrested at his East Third Street home, an incident report shows.

Pigman was charged for a similar incident that occurred in March at the Village Discount Outlet, 3880 Linden Ave., where he was accused of exposing himself to children in the store. He was released from jail on his own recognizance following arraignment and was due in court on the charge again Aug. 28.

According to public records, Pigman was convicted of gross sexual imposition in August 2003 involving a victim younger than 13. He was released from prison in June 2008, online records show.
