BEAVERCREEK — The City of Beavercreek is issuing a fraud warning after reports of a scam where people are going door-to-door representing the city’s aggregation program.
“It has been reported that people are going door to door stating the city’s program ended and that you should sign up with their company,” a release from the city said.

The city’s 3-year contract with AEP did recently end, but the new aggregation contract is now with Dynegy, according to the release.
The rate this city is being told the door to door people are offering is more than seven cents, while the city’s aggregation rate is actually 4.58 cents.

The city is reminding the community that no one will come door-to door-representing the aggregation program.
