Blue Berry Cafe in Bellbrook reopens after fire

BELLBROOK — The Blue Berry Cafe in Bellbrook has reopened Friday after a griddle fire at the restaurant Thursday morning, the restaurant’s owner and firefighters said.

The fire was reported just before 11 a.m. and firefighters arrived to find the flames. Lt. Jay Leach with Bellbrook Fire said fire crews were able to put the fire out quickly.

The restaurant’s owner said the health department and other equipment crews assisted at the restaurant.

The owner said the restaurant had to throw out all of its food due to the fire.
