BEAVERCREEK — UPDATE @ 5:00 P.M.:
Beavercreek Police Sergeant Scott Spangler confirmed a vehicle was traveling westbound down Meadowcourt Drive when it struck a pedestrian on a bicycle that was crossing the intersection.
Spangler said the bicyclist was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
INITIAL REPORT:
A bicyclist has been transported to an area hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Beavercreek.
Regional dispatch said the accident happened near the intersection of Meadowcourt Drive and Kemp Road at approximately 3:24 p.m.
The condition of the bicyclist transported is unknown at this time.
Police are on scene, investigating the accident.
