BEAVERCREEK — The City of Beavercreek has unveiled the name of its newest and largest park.
The 148-acre park that sits along Grange Hall Road will be called “Spring House Park.”
The city said the name recognizes a natural spring and spring house on the property.
In October 2021 the city was awarded a half-million-dollar federal grant to secure land to develop the park.

In September 2022, The city was awarded $738,000 in grants from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for additional land for the park.
More than 250 name suggestions were submitted from the community.
