Construction crew hits gas line along North Fairfield Road

BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek firefighters have cleared from a reported gas leak along North Fairfield Road this morning, according to emergency dispatch reports.

Fire crews responded to the 1400 block after a construction crew working in the area reportedly hit the gas line, according to initial reports.

Vectren crews were called to assist and the gas was turned off around 9:40 a.m., emergency dispatch traffic indicated.
