Cash, lottery tickets taken in armed robbery at Harrison Twp. gas station

HARRISON TWP. — A Harrison Twp. gas station targeted by robbers at least two other times this month, was once again robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

The robbery was reported at the Marathon gas station at 3905 North Main Street around 6:05 a.m.

A man and woman entered the store and displayed a gun before leaving the scene in a dark-colored sedan, deputies said in a media release.

The robbers were able to make off with a small amount of cash and lottery tickets.

The woman was described as wearing a red, flat billed baseball cap, camouflage sweatshirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. The man was wearing gray sweatpants, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and brown shoes with red shoelaces.

Earlier this month, deputies were called to the gas station on Sept. 11 and 12 after armed robberies were reported.

It was not immediately known if Tuesday’s robbery was connected to the other robberies this month.

No injuries were reported.
