DAYTON — The 51st annual Oktoberfest at the Dayton Art Institute is set to start today.
Attendees can expect over 30 artisan tents to shop at, food vendors, beer, and other drinks.
Today admission is free for the “Lederhosen Lunch” from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 a.m., but starting Saturday it will cost $10 at the gate.
Oktoberfest directly benefits the Dayton Art Institute and the festival is expected to have 25,000 to 35,000 visitors in attendance, making this the largest fundraiser for the museum.
Football fans will be able to breathe easy knowing there will be a tent set up with NFL football playing in it all weekend.
