2 Sabina men killed in head-on Clinton County crash on US-68, state patrol reports

CLINTON COUNTY — Two Clinton County residents from the village of Sabina were killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 68, south of Center Road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Post in Wilmington said.

Eric Ford, 32, and passenger Robert Graves, 51, both died at the scene, the patrol said. The accident was reported about 4:14 p.m.

According to the preliminary investigation, Ford was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer south on 68 that went left of center and struck an oncoming semitrailer driven by Dustin Morrison, 29, of Dayton.

Both vehicles continued off the east side of the highway, where the semitrailer, a Freightliner, hit a utility pole and jackknifed.

Morrison was taken by medicalt unit to Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. He later was transferred to Miami Valley Hospital, the patrol said.
