Child, adult hurt following crash in Harmony Township

HARMONY TOWNSHIP — A child and an adult suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries following a crash in Harmony Township Sunday morning.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Harmony Township crews were called at 10:41 a.m. to the intersection of South Urbana Lisbon and Chenoweth Roads to a crash with injuries, according to an OSHP spokesperson.

Clinton Massie, 33 of Springfield, was driving a 2002 Mercury Sable when it crashed into a 2005 Jeep Liberty operated by Andrea Johnson, 50 of South Charleston.

CareFlight transported two people from the Mercury Sable to the hospitals with serious, non-life threatening injuries, the spokesperson told News Center 7. One went to Dayton Children’s while another was transported to Miami Valley Hospital.

State Route 54 was closed in the area of the crash but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
