“There’s a door that’s busted. There’s glass all over the place,” a worker told 911 dispatchers. “They must have got keys out of our drawers. There’s a pile of keys outside.”

Police determined three vehicles were taken from the Miami Twp. business, dispatch records show. Shortly after the White Allen break-in was discovered, Miamisburg police found a break-in at Miamisburg Auto Sales on South Main Street around 7:25 a.m., according to dispatch records.

The owner of Miamisburg Auto Sales told News Center 7 two vehicles, including a Dodge Ram and Cadillac were stolen from his business, but were recovered by officers at the White Allen dealership.

Late Wednesday afternoon, Dayton police spotted one of the three stolen vehicles from White Allen and pursued it. That vehicle, a Black Volkswagen Passat, ultimately crashed into another vehicle in the area of Santa Clara and Richmond avenues. At least one person was taken into custody, according to police, but its not clear whether police are still looking for anyone else.

Dispatch records show police also recovered another one of the stolen White Allen vehicles, a white Volkswagen Tiguan, on Pompano Drive in Dayton. The third vehicle, described as a 2012 cream GMC Acadia, does not appear to have been found yet.

We’re working to learn more about this investigation from Dayton, Miamisburg and Miami Twp. Police and will update this story as more details become available.
