RICHMOND, Ind. — UPDATE @ 9 p.m. (4/21):
An 18-year-old is facing charges after being arrested in connection to a shooting that killed one teen and injured another.
According to the Richmond Police Department, officers responded to the shooting in the area of South 8th and South A Streets around 2 p.m. on Tuesday,

Upon arrival, police say they located two 18-year-old victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say one of the victims, identified as Nathaniel Reed, died from his injuries. The second victim was treated at a hospital and released.
On Thursday, police said Rickey Porter, of Richmond, had been arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder. Wayne County jail records showed Porter is also facing a marijuana possession charge.
The incident remains under investigation.
