On Tuesday Aug. 18, officers and SWAT responded to a home in East Price Hill on the reports of a shooting.
A witness said that a group of children were throwing rocks at a home on Warsaw Avenue when a man walked out from the house and shot Blair in the head.
The witness on the scene said that the man ran away from the house, with more people inside the home running out the back.
A Metro bus driver who was running her regular route had passed the scene soon after Blair was shot.
The driver, identified as Briona Akins, secured her bus and then began rendering aid to Blair until first responders arrived on the scene, according to a previous report.
“I seen a commotion, some teens, some adults running and screaming,” Akins said. “I seen a young boy lying in between the curb and the street. He had blood coming out of his head.”
Blair’s family has created a GoFundMe to help pay for his funeral and burial expenses.
