10th annual Rocky’s Run for Freedom 5K set for today

MIAMISBURG — This morning the annual Rocky’s Run for Freedom 5K will kick off in Miamisburg.

Participants will be able to run or walk the 5K at Harmon Field on Jefferson Street.

The opening ceremony will start at 8:30 a.m., according to a press release.

The money raised by this race supports three different charities.

Every year Gold Star parents Paul and Nanette Zanowick put on this race in honor of their son, Rocky, who died in Afghanistan.
