“It’s a drive by and I mean they are blowing up the place,” a 911 caller said in a 911 call News Center 7 obtained through a public records request.

Upon arrival, police located a man, later identified as Jeffrey Justice, 33, with a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was flown to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment, according to dispatch records. An incident report from police indicated he sustained a major injury. He has since been discharged from the hospital, according to a Miami Valley Hospital spokesperson.

Video from the scene showed crime scene tape and an evidence collection unit on the street where the shooting was reported.

Shell casings found on scene near where officers located Justice suggested that he also fired shots, according to police.

There’s no suspect information available at this time and the shooting is still under investigation.
