DAYTON — One person was taken to the hospital after a fire in Dayton Wednesday night.
Around 9:20 p.m. Dayton fire crews were called to the 700 block of Oxford Avenue to reports of a fire.
When crews arrived on the scene they reported smoke coming from the house, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

One person was taken from the scene to the hospital but information about the injuries they sustained was unavailable.
The fire was reported as being out as of 10 p.m., according to dispatch notes.
We are working to learn how serious the person’s injuries are and what caused the fire.
