1 taken to hospital after being hit by car in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — One person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Harrison Township late Wednesday.

Just before 12 a.m. Harrison Township deputies and medics were called to North Main Street and Turner Road to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

Dispatchers confirmed that one person was taken from the scene to an area hospital. Information about their condition was not available.

The driver accused of hitting the person stayed on the scene as crews investigated, according to dispatch notes.

We are working to learn how seriously the person was hurt and if the driver is facing any charges.
