1 seriously injured after shooting in Dayton

DAYTON — One person suffered life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Dayton Saturday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m. Dayton medics were called to reports of a “person down” on someone’s back porch in the 1000 block of Danner Avenue, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

When medics arrived on scene they found a man suffering a gunshot wound and called for police to come to the scene and investigate.

The man was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to dispatch notes.

Information was not available about if any suspects have been identified or where the man was shot.
