1 hospitalized after car crashes into pole in front of Vandalia fire station

VANDALIA — One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a pole in front of a Vandalia fire station Tuesday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m. Vandalia and Butler fire crews were called to a crash in front of the fire station on Peters Pike.

Photos posted by the Vandalia Division of Fire on social media show a pole snapped at the base, laying on a car.

One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Vandalia Division of Fire.
