SIDNEY — A male was taken to a local hospital after being hit by a car in Sidney Tuesday afternoon, according to Sidney Police Department Lieutenant Ethan Brown.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. at the Speedway at 1501 St. Mary’s Avenue.
Brown said the male was hit in the parking lot and sustained a head injury.
Medics transported the male to Wilson ER, but Brown said he would be transported to Miami Valley Hospital.
Speed may have been a factor in the crash, according to Brown.
