Less than 600 power outages reported in region after heavy rain, wind

Drainage wasn?€™t able to keep up with the heavy rain Thursday in Springfield and Clark County.

Numerous power outages were reported as heavy rain hit the Miami Valley Thursday afternoon. The number of outages fell briefly Thursday night but jumped as wind gusts as high as 45 mph were being reported.
