The city of Dayton is considering selling a large, vacant industrial site to the affiliate of an out-of-state investment firm with the goal of returning it to productive use.
City Commissioners on Wednesday will vote on an ordinance authorizing the city to sell the McCall’s printing plant at 2333 McCall St. for $300,000 to Phoenix Dayton LLC.
The sale would be for 350,000 square feet of vacant industrial space on 24.4 acres of land south of U.S. 35 in the Miami Chapel neighborhood, according to city documents.
