Gettysburg Ave. reopens after crash sends 3, including children, to hospital

DAYTON — Two children were among the injured in a crash on Gettysburg Avenue Friday afternoon.

Gettysburg was closed between Caylor and Pinnacle roads for several hours.

The single-vehicle crash was reported around 12:15 p.m. in the 2800 block of S. Gettysbyrg Avenue.

One person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital and two children were taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Their conditions were not immediately available.
