Dayton VA requests homemade masks for veteran patients

The Dayton VA Medical Center is requesting reusable, homemade masks for veteran patients through a new donation campaign.

7,000 homemade masks have been created by employees at the Dayton VA, but many more will be needed to combat COVID-19.

Veterans should follow CDC guidance on properly cleaning the mask prior to use to limit the possibility of contamination.
