FBI, bomb squad investigate suspicious package at Centerville building

CENTERVILLE — Centerville police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Dayton police Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious package at a Centerville building Friday afternoon, according to Centerville police.

The investigation blocked Clyo Road between East Franklin Street and West Alex Bell Road, however the road was reopened just before 3:30 p.m.. The investigation was centered at a building between East Franklin Street and Millerton Drive, the spokesperson said.

Earlier, FBI agents conducted an investigation at a house in Beavercreek on Stone Mill Court. However, a spokesman said the two incidents were unrelated.

The FBI did not release any details about the package or what may have been found inside it.
