Bradley Gillespie and James Lee both hid in a dumpster last week and escaped the Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution in Allen County.

Lee was caught a few days later in Henderson, Kentucky.

Henderson Police officers found Gillespie’s body early Sunday morning in the Ohio River.

The body was initially found by a boater, Henderson Police Sean McKinney said Sunday.

Gillespie went to prison in 2016 for killing two people.

The toxicology results won’t be available for several weeks, the coroner’s office said Wednesday.
