Man hospitalized after shooting in Harrison Twp.; deputies investigating

HARRISON TWP. — A 22-year-old man is hurt following a shooting in Harrison Township Sunday night, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to the apartments in the 1800 block of Palisades Drive around 9:48 p.m. according to a release.

One man was taken by medics to Grandview Medical Center after being shot in the arm, dispatchers tell News Center 7 Sunday night.

A witness tells deputies two men arrived outside the apartment Sunday. One of the men entered the building, took something from the e living room table, and then exited the apartments.

The victim was walking outside to the apartments at the time the man was leaving. The witness says the man shot the victim and then both suspects fled the scene on foot.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
