19-year-old accused of shooting, wounding man last month in Dayton

DAYTON — A 19-year-old Dayton man will be arraigned today in connection to a shooting last month in Dayton.

De’acapone D. Harrison is charged with two counts of felonious assault, both with a three-year firearm specification; improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and having weapons while under disability for a prior violent offense, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report released Friday.

Harrison is accused of shooting and injuring a 22-year-old man July 20 in the 1200 block of South Broadway Street.

Dayton police arrested Harrison not long after the shooting. He remains held in the Montgomery County Jail.
