Detectives are again asking the public for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her death.

Just in the last month investigators identified a woman found strangled to death 37 years ago in Miami County.

Using a new genetic genealogy tool, the Miami Valley Crime Lab was able to confirm the woman’s identification as 21-year-old Marcia King of Arkansas.

At one point, King spent some time in northern Shelby County.
