Police say a 30-year-old Dayton man was caught on camera at Walmart allegedly trying to take photos up shoppers' skirts.
Moraine police arrested Michael A. Whited around 2:30 p.m. Sunday after he was checking out at the store, 1701 W. Dorothy Lane. However, Whited told News Center 7 Sunday night that he was innocent and that he "did not do that."
The store's loss prevention officer told police that store surveillance cameras captured images of Whited sticking out his cellphone, which he believed was in an attempt to get photos up skirts of shoppers as he walked by, said police Sgt. Mike Keegan.
Store security cameras captured three alleged victims, two women and a juvenile, Keegan said. Two were in the store when police arrived, and a third woman had already left and was not identified, he said.
Whited has no prior arrests for any similar offenses, Keegan said.
Whited was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on two counts of voyeurism. He has since been released, jail records show.
